To Whom It May Concern,
For the past five years I have been coaching professional hockey. Currently, I am head coach of the Tilburg Trappers of the Netherlands Hockey League. This year we took a good team and became great; thus, making it to the championships. As well as coaching I have an extensive resume as a professional hockey player. Gaining experience at all levels in North American and Europe has helped me to learn every aspect of the game. Also, being part of five championship teams has given me invaluable experience; I know what it takes to win.
I have transferred everything I learned as a player into my coaching career. The first thing I learned as head coach is that the assistant coach makes suggestions but the head coach makes decisions. This is the challenge of coaching that I embrace. Each year with more coaching experience has come more responsibility. I feel that both on and off the ice I have excelled in developing players, handling video, setting up immigration, and other tasks. I have excelled at setting up well structured systematic practices.
Review my coaching and playing experience, and then please contact me about coaching opportunities in your organization.
With warm regards,
Mark Pederson
